Time is a changing

I was noticing today that Little Man's hair has grown a TON in a year. (well, actually, less than a year) I am looking at the family picture was had taken in October and he had peach fuzz. You know, the bearly there, top of a peach.

Well that is not the case anymore, he has HAIR! Wavy Curly Long adorable Hair. And yes, I know, he is a boy. But isn't long hair IN for boys?

I just dont want to cut it yet. He looks so adorable. And someday, he will be asking me for a green mohawk (which, knowing me, if it is not close to anything like Christmas, I might just give in.)

So, on that note, I took this picture of my little girl after Tball practice the other night...

... now, she has long, wavy, curly hair as well. But it hasn't passed the thin baby hair stage yet. And she has asked me if she can get a hair cut. But she has a few front calic's (spelling) an it is finally almost all able to to in a braid or ponytail. And it is summer, so her hair being on her neck is not a good idea.

So.... question.... am I being a bad mom? Selfish mom? Greedy mom?
Hummmmmmmmmmm...............................

Something a little happier

This saturday, I felt the need to "CEASE TO MOMENT!", "CARPE DIAM!", etc. So we took the kids to eat at Hooters (aka laid back with tvs), then we played for an entire hour in "Imagine that Toys" and when it was time to leave, they both left happy and willingly. (They were told me were not buying today) We then went to Famous Footwear, to which we finally found Madi's new shoes she has been dying for, and on sale! They are SO 1980s and look a lot my what mommy used to wear back in those days. SHE LOVES THEM! (to the point of wanting to sleep with them, mommy said "no" at that point) Cason walked out with new shoes too, Lightening McQueens and they have light up wheels on the sides. (daddy found these, they were cheap, so mommy said -"sure, why not, whatever!") **Note, mommy doesnt like purchasing "themed/character" clothing/shoes items.**

We then went to Towne East Mall to the candy store, and a little window shopping. (aka build-a-bear, again not purchasing toys that day.) Then we headed home. All in all, it was a fun day.

Dancing Madison (& Cason)

Miss Madison asked Santa for an MP3 this year. How fun will it be on Christmas when this is happening all over the house and not just in her room. ENJOY!!!

Daddy & kids day

Mommy went to Wichita with Grandma Rojean and her cousin Brandi for the day. So it was daddy fun day. They went to gma Pennys and carved their pumpkins. Daddy dressed them all for the day too. SO CUTE!!

This one is Madison's.

This one is Cason's. (puking pumpkin- LOL!)

This is the dress that Madi replaced a couple too small birthday gifts for at Von Maur. She also got a "hope" graphic tee shirt and a set of sparkly bracelets. She was all about wearing her new dress to church the next morning.

Fall Pictures of 2009

Sibling together, "FUN FUN TIMES"
Madi had her day to "shine" so to speak. :)

And did she ever "shine" ...

... what happened to my baby girl?!

She is such "herself" now.

Today we had Madison's 5 year portraits taken. Isn's she still a doll?!

And quite the growing "big" girl as well!!

Like last year, we did a family portrait as well.

And the photographer decided on a "mommy & daddy" portrait as well.
